Hey y'all!
I hope everyone is surviving this heat wave. Whew, it's HOT here in the beautiful South and I love the lake and fishing and all our fresh veggies.
I do not love cleaning all the above, however so I wanted to talk about mistakes, trial and error, and the satisfaction of finally getting it right. I'm not saying that my way is necessarily the "right" way. I'm talking about how you can get whatever you want by just trying.
So many times I have wanted to just throw my hammer, and tell the hubby that I couldn't fix, build, or worst of all, repair something I had broken because I wanted to make it "look pretty". Nope, not happening, not this girl.
War's have started over less!
I'm kidding, in a way....
OK, so to keep you from leaving I'll skip a LOT of my mistakes and just let you know I have made many and will again. I will keep trying though. I will not give up ever and that applies to every part of my life, from my problem child to that shelf I built over the washer.
You can never stop trying, your shelf may lean a tad bit to the left, but it's made of industrial pipes and 2x4's so that baby isn't going anywhere (& with the laundry soap's, a couple of cute baskets no ones noticed yet😉)
I know how badly it hurts when we fall, I know its painful and certainly not any fun. I understand that getting back up and dusting ourselves off and getting back on that horse after being thrown off three days in a row is daggone intimidating and I know how easy it is to walk away. The thing is that walking away gives you nothing at the end of the day.
The only way to get to be the happy, mentally and physically, is to go through your struggles and ride them until you own that baby.
You are so much stronger than you give yourself credit for. Stay positive, keep trying until you feel it's right, and if at first you don't succeed, TRY, TRY AGAIN~
Thanks for stopping by.
Peace and Tranquility ~
